Lavender fused glass free-standing wave sculpture
The smell of Lavender on a hot summer day, this hand-made fused glass wave reminds me of long summer days spent camping in French Provence.
I have created this glass art wave by fusing dots of purple, plum and lilac glass on to some green green grass, and bright blue skies, with thin black glass for the stalks.
Then I fire the glass a second time in my glass kiln, so that it slumps down into a mould to create the 'wave' shape.
I think that this Lavender wave looks great on a window sill, so the sunlight can bounce through the glass, but it also looks beautiful on a simple shelf or mantlepiece. If you place candles or fairy lights behind the glass, the light shines through and reflects the colours of the glass.
Your fused glass lavender flowers wave is hand-made, so may vary slightly from the photo.
The Lavender design is also available as a trinket dish.
Your hand-made fused glass wave measures approximately 22cm wide by 6cm high.
Your fused glass will come placed in an organza gift bag. I will also carefully bubble wrap your fused glass and it will come posted in a cardboard box to ensure it's safe delivery. If you would like to send this lavender fields wave as a gift, please let me know and I can post it directly to the recipient, along with a message of your choice.
I ship my fused glass art to all countries worldwide, please check shipping options for prices.
I have created all of my fused glass art by hand in my studio in East Sussex, England. Every piece is unique and individual and no two pieces ever look identical. Your glass will look very similar to the piece in the photographs, although not exactly the same. This is because the glass is heated to 800 degrees in my glass kiln in order for it to fuse together. During this process, some of the small pieces of glass may move around slightly. I think that this is one of the joys of hand-made pieces, so I hope that you will embrace these little differences, as much as I do.
